3D Print Project- Air Pods Case
For the individual 3D print project I made a case that you can set your Air Pods in to charge! I also added a place for a cord to make it a charging dock.
First off I had to make sketches of what I wanted to do. I had the idea to make a charging case when we started i was debating doing Air Pods or my phone. I picked Air Pods. I got all my measurements and the added 3% to all of the measurements to insure everything would fit. The hardest part about this was the curved part because the air pods side is not an exact circle so it was hard to get the right fit.
Very first I made the square that was going to contain the slot for my Air Pods. I gave 1 cm on the sides around where the Air Pods would be. Then I had to make the slot with and extrusion this was probably the hardest part to get all the measurements right but it all ended up fine. |

Conclusion
The case turned out just how I wanted it to! There was a perfect amount of wiggle room and it works perfectly! I think I really got a hold of using Inventor now and I am comfortable using the 3D printer! This project made me learn how measure a object that is tricky to measure along with using the dimention tool on a rounded edge. Over all this was a fun and useful project!!
